“Terrible smell inside , exit doors had tape around the lat h so wouldn’t close pretty sketchy , ask for blanket and manager refused to give us one”

“Rockwood Manor was just beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Our room was charming and very well appointed. The bathroom was huge! Breakfast every morning was delicious. My husband and I truly enjoyed our weekend away!”

“The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake”

“Excellent stay!!! Wifi is spotty and phone service is nonexistent so make sure you have other means of communication already downloaded on your phone. I do have to said that we (12 cousins) did not miss our phones at all, it give us a means of connecting with the family that we hadn’t seen since Covid.”

“The property was beautiful. Loved seeing all the cows. There is a big picture window in the living room and the view was great. The road into the property was very windy. House was very well maintained and the gas range with infrared lights was fun to use. I made omelettes. The host was very quick to respond to all questions and requests.”
